Community Outreach

Service & Ministry

Church members are encouraged to serve Jesus by serving those in need in our community:

"Then the righteous will answer him, 'Lord, when did we see you hungery and feed you, or thirsty and give you something to drink? When did we see you a stranger and invite you in, or needing clothes and clothe you? When did we see you sick or in prison and go to visit you?'

"The King will reply, 'I tell the truth, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of mine, you did for me."

Matthew Chapter 25

Our newest program is Foster Kids Care Packs. Frequently, foster children need to change homes unexpectedly, and often after business hours. Many do not have basic personal items. So the Parish now has a storage area with personal items, stuffed animals, backpacks, underwear/socks/pajamas, and other necessities for the first two nights of care. We want to show these children that the community cares about them in their time of need.
